When they were new, Santa Fe Dash 8-40BW's on Cajon
Author: PasadenaSub

Here's one from the famous Summit, CA overlook in Cajon Pass (that every railfan in the country has probably shot from), taken October 25, 1990. Two recently delivered Dash 8-40BW's lead an eastbound intermodal train around the curve into Summit. According to the Qstation.org website, the 523 leading was delivered earlier that same month.

Thanks for looking,

Rich

Warbonnet Strength!

Excellent photo, Rich. I sure do love those Warbonnets! I have to say that the Warbonnet is the only paint scheme that invokes a sense of pride, professionalism and speed all rolled into one. May the remaining few soldier on!

Agreed, that was a very very great paint scheme!
