SP Dolores hauler in '85

In May '85, a matched set of SD39's brings SP Colton to Dolores hauler eastward down SP's Wilmington branch about to cross the Santa Fe Harbor Sub at Nadeau in South Central LA with the LA city hall building in the distance.

Another nice image JB...those SD39's were cool for the SP...I seem to recall seeing them mostly in matched sets.

On the times I worked the Anaheim Hauler, I loved to go out on the 'back porch' while along-side the Santa Ana freeway, and "steer". We'd be moving at at about the same speed as the auto's, and I recall that many necks were 'broken' when drivers saw me "steering" (using the center-body hand brake!
