In Oct '94, a P&W job waits at the Old Saybrook, CT, depot for a job coming up from New Haven to exchange trains.

Another P&W job the next day was picking up stone cars at Branford, CT.

If you want 'em, the train symbol for the first picture should be NR-2 and for the second, NH-1.

And the more specific location for the second photo is Pine Orchard, Conn.

My Mother used to watch trains there when she was little.
Thanks for sharing that Joe, My Mom's final resting place is at MP 18.3 (Pacific Crest Cemetary) on The Harbor Sub.

Thanks for the post. It brings back memories. Of course that whole area is very different. Towers gone, tracks are electrified, and they have a huge station platform in the middle of the high speed tracks. Yes its very different not the same atmosphere at all.
