It's a real shame what happened to Shattuck. What you see there is the waiting room portion, and the freight room is around the other side of that fence. The office portion, including the bay window, was apparently demolished. The structure before it was dismembered can be seen here:

Is the Santa Fe coal chute still standing in Cushing as well?

When I worked for the Rock Island, one of the road engineers had grown up in Shattuck Ok. According to him, when it rained 40 days and 40 nights, Shattuck got a quarter of an inch!

That is the structure I remember from one of my few railfan trips in high school. In the middle of the night caught the east bound fast mail out of Amarillo to Shattuck and then waited for the west bound SF Chief back to Amarillo. Great adventure.
