Bay Area ) newspaper, I noticed that on that date in 1827"the first U.S. railroad chartered to carry passengers and freight, the B&O, was incorporated". I haven't verified the date/fact at AAR or other source, but if so, We've come a long way since. Barry Bonds celebrated by dressing in drag at AZ spring training.
