Yuch. Looks like something out of a bad dream.

What happened to all the equipment after this "went away"?

Of all places.... to the Alaska Railroad!

The cars went to ARR and the engines returned to Amtrak. One wound up running in Michigan still in FFT paint.

actually all 3 ended up running in Michigan. I have photos of all 3 of them at different
times on the Pere Marquette (and actually have some photos with 2 on one train, one on
each end)

The F40's are now working down in Panama (as in, the Republic of Panama, not Panama City Florida!) for the PCRC.
