Great website. Thanks for sharing all the pictures. My Dad and I also rode the train in 1987, just after the tunnel was reopened following the fire. That was one helluva sharp shoofly around the tunnel, an indication of the track conditions to come. Pretty wild railroading!

Thanks - I chased that train from Willits to Dos Rios, and the next day from Eureka to Scotia.
