South Shore Freight Motors

I shot these two freight motors around 1975 in South Bend at Bendix Dr. and Lincolnway. The crew was across the street at McDonald's. These were acquired from the NYC in the 1950's and each are rated at 3000hp.

FYI, Joe Testagrose has been posting beaucoup pix of South Shore Motors on Alt.Binaries.Pictures.Rails newsgroup the last couple of days.
