Joe,
The location is in our beloved Altamont Pass between Tracy and Livermore, here in California.
I hope someone here can pinpoint the siding location for us.
Those hills were just as green as those when the picture was taken a few months ago.

Actually, you can get a shot with pretty much the same scenery today. The giant auto junkyard is actually a giant RV junkyard (agreed, one terrible eyesore!), and is another quarter mile up the hill and out of the picture to the right.
