Nostalgia & History > Great Northern Fans, Need a location, PleaseDate: 07/17/06 11:51 Great Northern Fans, Need a location, Please Author: yardclerk Here is F7 353C and an E unit posted by Larry Johnson in the ABPR newsgroup.
Does anyone recognize this location? Any info appreciated. Date: 07/17/06 12:17 Re: Great Northern Fans, Need a location, Please Author: wlankenau I can't make out the flags on the buildings, but the Consolidated Motors "Limited" building makes my guess Vancouver, B.C.

Present Canadian flag was adopted on February 15, 1965. Now, when did GN start using the simplified paint? Yard, This could be Winnipeg. There are listings for a Consolidated Motors Limited there. This is also a listing for a Consolidated in Vancouver also. The E's however were used more out of Minneapolis and Grand Forks for the Manitoba trains and the Duluth trains. J.
