That first shot looks exactly the same today except the big gas tank is gone along with the smokestacks, poles, wires, tower, jointed rail, and the locos. But there are locos similar that can be seen on the Reading & Northern in Port Clinton and Delaware - Lackawanna in Scranton.

You left out the fact that you would get arrested (or shot or stabbed)today if you stood to take a photo at that spot. Also, the grade crossing at Basin St. was eliminated and a road underpass installed.
