I got this slide but don't know who took it but had to post it apparantly taken in Lawrence ks in 1970.....

I was down the track in Topeka then, but saw the UP trains several times a week. The big double GE's were so standard, I hardly gave them a 2nd glance. But the Alco in this picture is something I don't remember ever seeing. Probably just not in the right place at the right time I guess.
