The Last RI photo from Des Moines looks like its taken from the I35/80 Bridge.
Boy that scene has changed quite a bit in 30 years.

That shot was definitely taken from the I80/35 bridge. The building on the left receives covered hoppers and the building on the right is now Barsol Solvents. The Ft.Dodge,Des Moines&Southern track looks a little better now than when that photo was taken.
