Date is June 1954, location is Waco, Texas, on a fantrip for the Lone Star Region of the National Model Railroad Association. Photographer is Harry C. Blaze, Jr. It went from the Katy Depot in Waco (in background) out to Bellmead to the Warden Shops. Locomotive on the front end was SW-9 1234 (how's that for a number?) and a couple heavyweight chair cars, and this caboose. Where'd you get the slide? Harry was a friend of ours here in Waco, and we have the originals to a whole bunch of his work, and duplicates to some more of it. Bradley Linda Waco, Texas Date: 01/13/07 17:00 Re: MKT Yellow caboose Author: Frisco1522 Wow! Everything but the engineer's name. Thanks for the information.
If memory serves, I bought the slide at a swap meet years ago, but I don't remember from who (or whom?). It is a dupe, by the way. The R.S.Plummer slides I have posted are dupes from the orignals that a friend of mine owns, as are many of the MP slides. He OK'd posting images from the dupes.
