Nostalgia & History > One more day, in Toronto that is. Part IDate: 03/19/07 07:01 One more day, in Toronto that is. Part I Author: SP6190 July 28, 1980
It was partly cloudy/sunny on the morning of our last full day in Toronto. This would change later that day. Anyway we headed down to the Spadina roundhouse area for the last time to catch what we could catch. Actually it was quite a bit, but it all looked the same so, so I will only post a few shots from there. Later we would take the subway and bus out to West Toronto. #1 Here we are back on the Spadina St bridge for one last time. Ho hum. Well at least the sun is shining. Here we have a light engine move with to RS18’s and a GP9 lead by the CN 3128. #2-3 This was followed shortly by GO 905 on a inbound commuter, and a inbound VIA train with three RDC’s. All trains shown were at or near the West Toronto crossing except the VIA Super Continental which was photographed at the next crossing east of there.
#7 CN 8234 heading south. Date: 03/19/07 07:04 Re: One more day, in Toronto that is. Part I Author: SP6190 #8-9 CP 5579 making the turn and heading for Agincourt yard.
#10 CP 7020 on one of the many locals that ran in and out of Lambton yard. Date: 03/19/07 07:04 Re: One more day, in Toronto that is. Don't get many pictures of Canadian stuff.
