Nostalgia & History > Texas Mining Company's switcherDate: 04/16/07 22:22 Texas Mining Company's switcher Author: xtra1188w TMC mines frac sand and sand blasting sand at a place near Brady Texas. Brady is where their bagging and loading plant is. I was there waiting to get a 45' flatbed trailer loaded with bagged blasting sand when the action with this machine dingfod was going on. I remember thinking that this was more interesting to watch than the Western fiction novel that I was reading as I waited. Waiting to load or unload is one thing about trucking that I don't miss! At the right hand side you can see the edge of a fender on my railfanning vehicle that I also used to pull that 45' flatbed trailer with.
