Chief409 Date: 04/29/07 22:16 Re: Wreck at Selma..part3 Author: Steamjocky On 2-12-37 there was a derailment of train #26 at Selma where an intoxicated driver got his car wedged in a switch, walked away from the scene when #26, making approximately 40 mph, hit the automobile derailing the engine, tender, and 6 cars. The engineer and fireman were killed. Oh, and the locomotive was the 2479.
