Do you know anyone who collects RR postcards--there are surprisingly many out there of scenery and engines and places and buildings. Im partial to the UP overland. any help would be appreciated

Make sure you check out Ebay if you haven't already. I don't follow UP, but there frequently seems to be postcards and other artwork for sale on the railroads I do look at.
