One of the few great things about the mergers of the 80's... Interesting and coloful power lashups. :)

I'm sure we all remember the first time we saw a consist of Chessie/CSX/Family Lines (or even B&O, SCL, etc) or a N&W/Southern/NS mix. Just one reason I've taken to modeling that era...

Dang, I just hate hearing the words "ex-Chessie and ex-L&N" ! I want 'em back! :-(

And then CSX took their sweet time repainting them! I got so many shots of trains with all kinds of Power on them when I was railfannin' around Jacksonville in 94 (Was in the Navy then!)
