2 - SP #560325 40ft flat taken in Santa Barbara 7-21-74 at 12:27 PM. Anybody have an idea of what is on the flat car? 3 - SP #615261 86ft 8 door outside braced box car taken 12-13-77 at 2:04 PM in Santa Barbara. C.C.Chas. As for the first box car, the ACI label identifies the car as SP 231057, and it looks like it may have been rebuilt to a single-door car (the panel on the left might not be original). Sometimes I get it right and sometimes I don't. Should have a complete shot of the car in photo #1. Let's hope I didn't get my car marks screwed up, which is not impossible. Believe that car was in a string of cars on a westbound peddler that died in SB. I was just walking along and photographing some of the cars. A lot of SP ones of course.
