McCook (IL) 1966
Author: TAW

I had to fire up the scanner and dig through the archive for a picture for a project, so I filled out the holder with a few others in case anyone is interested.
1 - IHB west coming up to the tower.
2 - Santa Fe 123 (or was it 23 then?)...anyway, the Grand Canyon coming up to the Santa Fe station (and blowing by at 79)
3 - You can smell that new engine small from 2 carlengths away. The B&OCT crew is coming out of Electro (name of the phone booth at the switch), or EMD if you prefer, with a new engine for RDG. The Harbor crew has pulled up to give the B&OCT some room. The Harbor will go in for their part of yesterday's production and the B&OCT will tie on to their caboose (that the Harbor job shoved ahead so they would fit) and head for McCook (about 65 carlengths away). Both jobs have already made their daily deposit at Pielet Brothers (scrap yard for those who don't know).
