Just another day on the Santa Fe

Back in 1979 that is. Here we see a westbound somewhere between Hodge and Helendale with a leased B&O GP40 along with three Santa Fe GP35s, all still in original paint. Just another typical train on a typical day back in October of that year.

I bet someone could recreate that photo for a fun "then and now". The rock in the foreground is quite distinct and would make for an easy reference point.
