but here it is. Keith A Date: 10/20/09 17:47 Re: SP 3030 for p5r24 Author: AmtrakHogHead Thats the biggest 3030 I have ever seen! :-P LOL

I've got an M5R24 that for sure came off of something SP, but unfortunately I have no idea which unit. I'm just glad to be able to preserve it and what's left of the SP gray paint.
And if you're interested here are a couple clips of it in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alaRYCyRJ3g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0aCEg0c_7I Josh Simmons San Antonio, TX Date: 10/21/09 13:21 Re: SP 3030 for p5r24 Author: P5r24 Awsome shot Keith!!
That should be my horn. As I mentioned in the previous thread, when I first got the M5 off 3030 it was painted in a light gray color. I was hoping your photo might show the light gray. (Still searching/hoping) Here is a link to the only photo I can find of of her in the light gray. The problem is this photo does not show 3030s engine number! I only have a verble that it is indeed S.P. Trainmaster 3030. (Note the color of the M5 on the center Trainmaster.) http://espee.railfan.net/sph24-66.html Great stuff all! P.S. Here is what my 3030 M5 looks like today in semi retirement Thanks FT!, P5r24 AK Gary Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 10/21/09 13:56 by P5r24. |
