Geneva Ore contracts started and there was something more than DMIR running ore. Auburndale, WI on the WC.


Engineer would slow and stop his train, awaiting yard instructions. In the meantime, would come to the window and say hi. Invite me to come down and run HO stuff with him and club. He did. We're still friends today. Neither one of us would do this today, other than a wave and a short horn toot when applicable. July 92 Neenah, WI.

In horrible storm light (got soaked), railroads put together a real heritage series lash-up.
