Nostalgia & History > Early Reading & NorthernDate: 11/19/09 13:35 Early Reading & Northern Author: m1bprr Back when the Blue Mountain Reading & Northern ran out of Temple, PA. Over the former Pennsylvania RR. Schuylkill Division. Now that line is used for idle car storage.

There was also a van painted to look like a Reading FP7. What ever happened to those? Anyone know who owned them? Were they TO members? Ben I don't think that they are physically running. I thought that they both were in storage and one of them was worse off than the other rusting away. Use the search as there was a topic on both units sometime back. And the running lights have numberboards, waaaay cool. I wonder if he had a steering wheel or a throttle (or even if it was right-hand drive);-) Show up at a railfan event in that thing and you'd be as popular as Pam Anderson in a wet T-shirt contest. What a great idea! I gotta do one in NYC two tone grey and pinstripes! |
