Cotton Belt PA brightens up the day at E. St. Louis, IL in June of 1950. Poor black F unit next to her doesn't have a chance.

That is the first picture I have seen of a Cotton Belt PA in daylight colours.

The Cotton Belt PAs had silver on the roof where the SP PAs had black.

June 1950 is certainly the earliest I've seen a Nathan Airchime--must've been brand-new. Thanks for showing a nice portrait. Kurt.
