I love that movie, especially the paint blistering Nathan M3 horn on that unit Glenn is running.

Yeah that scene where he was running his train and reading a letter from his sweetie at the same time, not even looking out the front windshield drew a few chuckles from this retired engineer. You would have thought he was a passenger back in the coaches! I sure hope he didn't get by any flags, fusees or red signals or run over any track gangs! A couple of other scenes will also have professional railroaders saying "Yeah right!" It is a very good flick though, just released on DVD as part of a five film box set "Columbia Pictures Film Noir Classics II". It's a beautiful wide screen transfer but unfortunately not available for purchase separately from the box set. If you're on Netflix it's definitely worth a rental or you can catch it on Turner Classic Movies from time to time.
