Union Pacific Colorphoto Calendars
Author: donstrack

I've been scanning my stack of saved UP calendar photos. Here are two from the early years.

A total of 42 of them are in this album:

They did.

The photos were taken back in the day when UP regularly mixed Es and Fs on passenger trains. Long before my time, so I don't know when the practice stopped.

Don,
Great website. Love the shot of the City of St. Louis on Sullivan's Curve.

They stopped mixing E units and F units in 1953-1956 with the delivery of sufficient E8s and E9s to operate all of the passenger trains.

Pic #36-- where's that? Either the number
boards are empty or they say "111", but
presumably it's not train 111.

And #40, the colored shot of 104 behind
E6-E2-E2-- where's that one?
