The snow flanger in the attached pic was in Kingston's North Yard* from the time I started visiting in the Spring of 1971 until the mid-late 1990's. The bright yellow car was occasionally used to clear the yard tracks after a particularly heavy snowfall and sometimes the tracks of the Wallkill Valley branch as well. There was also an icicle breaker car (hopper with an "A" appearing steel beam structure in the middle of the car). Both have long disappeared from the yard. Anyone know what happened to them?

*along the West Shore (NYC), Riverline (Conrail), River Sub (CSXT). sorry, but I don't know what the PC referred to it as.
