Nostalgia & History > OC going away shot- Glouster to Conesville coal trainDate: 01/08/11 09:00 OC going away shot- Glouster to Conesville coal train Author: Gateway97 I always liked going-away shots for variety. I bought the book Pennsy Power by Al Staufer many years ago and was really moved by the late Don Woods' shots of steam, including his pacing/going away angles. It inspired me to look for different angles to shoot locomotives in action. Here is a shot of an SD40-2/SD45 duo working an Ohio Central Glouster to Conesville coal train. Nothing fancy here, but with the OC gone and the paint gradually becoming orange and black, it becomes another fallen flag shot to boot. Hope you like it.
