Nostalgia & History > Santa Fe Blue and Yellow? Naaaaaaaah!Date: 06/15/11 11:04 Santa Fe Blue and Yellow? Naaaaaaaah! Author: TheNavigator Even though today is a Warbonnet Wednesday, please permit me to digress into Santa Fe blue-and-yellow land for a moment. At the time, there was nothing particularly noteworthy about either consist.
1. Santa Fe GP35 3339 is on the head end of a typical eastbound "geep-pack" at Summit, Cajon Pass, in January 1977. 2. In August 1980, SD26 4609 leads an eastbound on the North Track at MP57X in Cajon Pass. Thanks for looking, GK Edited 4 time(s). Last edit at 06/15/11 12:44 by TheNavigator. Santa Fe took care of the GP30's and GP35's. They were the utility power on the Coast Lines. They did a little bit of everything. Date: 06/15/11 19:44 Re: Santa Fe Blue and Yellow? Naaaaaaaah!
