On units 1751 & 1754 which include the bicentennial red, white, and dark blue stripes on
the nose, are there any stripes on the rear? Possibly a vertical wide band area extending from
the top of walkway through the rear headlight?

Thanks,

If memory serves me correctly there should be a white stripe full height on both the nose and the rear of 1754. At a different point in time I also remember 1754 with a rear white stripe from the bottom of the headlight up. I will look at slides after work to confirm. The B&M tended to change details of their paint scheme regularly.

Looking at slides tonight, it appears ( was not a great photographer then) that in 1976 anyway 1751 & 1754 had full height rear white stripe as did several other 1750 series that were repainted in that time frame.
