Nostalgia & History > Boston & Maine GP-18Date: 06/16/11 08:01 Boston & Maine GP-18 Author: SP373 On units 1751 & 1754 which include the bicentennial red, white, and dark blue stripes on
the nose, are there any stripes on the rear? Possibly a vertical wide band area extending from the top of walkway through the rear headlight? Thanks, SP373 Date: 06/16/11 14:59 Re: Boston & Maine GP-18 Author: railrob If memory serves me correctly there should be a white stripe full height on both the nose and the rear of 1754. At a different point in time I also remember 1754 with a rear white stripe from the bottom of the headlight up. I will look at slides after work to confirm. The B&M tended to change details of their paint scheme regularly.
