Nostalgia & History > "Fatal Instinct" movie train in Cajon PassDate: 02/22/12 00:53 "Fatal Instinct" movie train in Cajon Pass Author: oyw I finally ran across my slides from the filming of the movie satire "Fatal Instinct" with Santa Fe FP45 95 and five passenger cars. In November of 1992, not sure of the exact day but I'm thinking maybe the 9th, the train made several passes through the tunnels at Alray. The first shot shows the train just west of Tunnel 2 as it begins to accelerate. The other shot was taken from the SP ROW of the train after stopping at the east portal. A silly movie but the train scenes are pretty good to watch.

(And only now, after a bit of Wikipedia education, I learn that Fatal Instinct was a spoof of Fatal Atraction and Basic Instinct!)
