Some IMRL towards the final months of the lines in operation before the IC&E sale

1. WB Empty Bullett Train at Mason City, Ia. Missinglink34 is the engineer on this Train.

2. Train 264 being switched by the Ottumwa Local crew in Ottumwa, April of 2002.

3. Since it was a Sunday, and no one around, engineer Steve Alex, who hired out on the Milwaukee Rd Iowa Division in Perry back in 1969, gave my son Garrett and I ride. Here Garrett, then 6, asks Steve a question, or maybe telling Steve how to run his engine better. :} Great memories.

You know I'll always be a sucker for IMRL pictures! I think I remember Mr Alex, too. But, being as I worked out of Kansas City, I never worked with him. Thanks for sharing these and don't hesitate to post more!

I got some more coming Greg.....thanks for looking. Spent a lot of time down there in Ottumwa. Lots of good railroaders worked out of there.
