The third shot is during the darkest days of the SP "Mutt" phase, when Gyralites had been removed, but ditch lights were not yet intalled.

Cool white dust swirling on the second photo! Must have just laid some fresh ballast in that area. Great consist as well! Thanks for sharing.

That beacon is the only clean thing on the cinder block.
Also more proof Schneider trailers ran on the Coast.
Love that faded and trashed Kodachrome.
