Nostalgia & History > SP Tower QuestionDate: 11/09/12 11:07 SP Tower Question Author: Railbaron Way back around 1971 I photographed this "tower" at Maxwell, CA, along SP's West Valley line. I assume it was an SP tower of some kind based on the color. Does anybody (TonyJ) know what this tower was for, assuming it was actually an SP tower?
--------------------------------------- Update: Photo(s) deleted because there are thieves on Trainorders who download and then use other peoples' photos in books, or simply print and sell the prints, for their own enrichment!!! I don't mind downloading them for your personal enjoyment but I draw the line at selling them or publishing them and claiming they are yours. Sorry I have to do this but the actions of a few screw it up for all. Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 02/11/20 12:25 by Railbaron. Date: 11/09/12 11:13 Re: SP Tower Question Author: JimBaker My guess is it is a water well building.

Not my type of lodging Date: 11/09/12 12:33 Re: SP Tower Question Author: TCnR This actually showed up on a previous thread but I don't remember what the function really was. Thread title was something about the Colusa Branch, I suspect it was TonyJ.

I posted the same question 5 years ago and had forgotten all about it. That's what I get for just getting back to scanning slides - I forgot what I did way back when. Sorry for the post.
