Celebrated George R. Ungricht's 90th birthday today. Why is this on the Nostalgia Board?
George hired on the Rio Grande in 1941, and retired in 1988. He held the number one conductor job out of Provo, Utah for many of those 47 years.
Happy Birthday, George. Thanks for inspiring my love of Railroading...
