RR motive power service & maintenance is a 24 hour thing in a major location such as the famous Diesel Shops in Argentine, KS. Back when a railfan could reasonably roam around an engine facility without being a threat to national security I did my best to record scenes at Argentine, night & day. Here is a shot of the east face of the main service shop building visible off of the 18th St expressway overpass.
