2001 on the BNSF Harbor Subdivision, a light power move drops off the bridge over El Segundo Blvd to Lairport Siding in El Segundo.
Not the best image, perhaps, shot on Kodak color neg film with a fairly coarse grain. It was quite a struggle getting the color even this good from a scan of the neg.

Pretty unusual catch of an eastbound lite power move.

I was thinking that while I was working up the image to post. I don't recall a lot of light power moves either way during that time, though I can't say I was monitoring all the time.

I used to work at the AT&T/PacBell building at Manchester and Airport Blvds. in the Westchester-Inglewood area.

Driving in the area the area, I used to see trains crossing Manchester on the Harbor Sub.
In the ensuing years I saw SCRRA property signs posted at the crossing.

That makes sense. Through trains stopped running there in April 2002, though they kept Hyrail inspections going for a couple of years after that. Today that is SCRRA property targeted for Metro extension some day.
