Remember back in the day the Big-C sat in the back. Date: 12/08/12 08:49 Re: Found in Every ATSF Caboose Author: mopacrr edsaalig Wrote:
------------------------------------------------------- > Found Form GSK-119 in a ATSF Caboose in the 70s. Not just the Santa Fe,but other roads as well. I remember Mopac cabooses had a holder for all the forms that the conductor might need to fill out what ever paper work he might need during the trip. There was also a big diagram bolted on the wall of a ART refer that showed when and how to open hatches for various kinds of produce. Over the years I managed to get at least copy of all the forms, but I wish I had taken one of the ART diagrams as none have ever turned up. stuffed large pouches of the above named forms including Form 827..Time claimed...white for Condr-Brakeman and yellow for Engr-Fireman. These were placed on pool waycars enroute Belen, Bakersfield, Los Angeles and San Diego... Form 810 was Accident report..even the crew wagon driver had a pad in the vehicle..some times we did need them... Bob Drenk Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/08/12 12:11 by Agt-Highland. |
