I couldn't have been luckier framing the eastbound #18 and F-9 #5771 thru the trees if I'd planned it...I'm wondering if this was taken on the old mainline that got abandoned just west of the "Big Slide" at Thistle that occured in 1983...James Belmont or Jared should know...Steve

Yes your correct this picture is just railroad west geographical north of the thistle slide area

Your instincts are correct Steve, right where the rear of the train is in this pic, is where the line was severed, and is now on the north side of price river. Nice shot!
