Do not confuse Calf's and SLUGS

Maybe call them B units ????


The last few were slugs, no prime mover inside just traction motors

Yeah, I know. I was referring to the first group of photos. I always regret selling my N scale UP cow and calf set in my foolish teen years.

That picure of 1151 is unusual. It looks to me like black (grey?) and yellow. When did SP use that color combination?

It was black and orange. That was the switcher scheme that went with the Black Widow freight scheme. I'm no expert but I think they went over to Bloody Nose (Lark Grey & Scarlet) around 1959-61.
