RGZ arriving and departing Helper, UT

I scanned a couple of more slides from the Rio Grande Zephyr trip back in 1982. Featured tonight, the head end of #18 stopped at Helper, Utah on the morning of October 17. Followed by a going away shot of the 8 car train as it accelerates eastbound for Denver. During the past couple of years I have shared several photos from this trip and still have a few more to go. Thanks again for looking.

if "Silver Shop" isn't the first dome then food and beverage service is going to be limited
on this trip !

(edit) but by then they had the ex-UP diner as a spare so I'm guessing something bad
happened
