1901 when the SP double tracked line
from OV to Holy Cross cemetery in 1901.
Single track going N/S is the United RR
# 26 st car line to Daly City CA.

First photo, very bottom left hand corner: joint bolts are missing. What a ride it must have been!

In that first photo, where are we looking towards along the CP/SP line? Towards Bernal Cut?

I'm amazed that you keep finding all these images of this historic, yet forgotten line--really great!

Bolts are missing in lower right as well. From the looks of all the removed asphalt looks like the diamond has been freshly installed in the middle of a crossing with total installation not quite complete. Neat photo.

about 2.5-3 miles.
