Can't remember seeing photos of RDG Terminal without electric MU's !! Great post. Think this is the first time I have ever seen evidence of CNJ steam power at 12th & Market Sts.

Philadelphia, PA - ex railfan hot spot. Who'd have thought?

Sitting at Broad Street watching PRR, CNJ, Reading and B&O -
steam AND diesel all in one day. Sigh. Amazing photo(s)!

The CNJ, while famous for their "Camelback" 4-6-0's, could lay claim to some really handsome, big Pacific's. The 810 was one of them. More, please.

The trackage was elevated above the streets and the track to the right (called Race Siding)runs along the edge of the structure.
