Burlington Northern in wide open Wyoming

1)SD60m's 9229, 9233, SD40-2 8104 and Santa Fe SD40-2 5053 are Northbound and approaching Shawnee Jct. with a train of empty black and yellow NPPX cars on May 5th, 1991.

2)SD40-2's 7279, 7260, 7249, 7248 and 7231 along with fuel tender FT24 were recorded at Dwyer with empty WFAX hoppers also on May 5th, 1991.

3)Approaching Bill in June of 1985, BN 7011, 5046, 7805, 7065 and 5808 have empty SDEX hoppers in tow.

Good shots from the good old days in big, wonderful Wyoming. BN's SD60's were always a favorite of mine and I enjoy seeing pics of theme in action. Five SD40's hauling coal looks nice too (sounded great also under heavy load)!

Really enjoy the impressiveness of #2. I even remember the fuel tenders here in Tulsa and was always impressed at how clean and in proper company colors they were--made them look like they belonged where they were. Thanks for showing.
