Two units of U.P. light power at Gypsum, Kan.
Author: JoCoLB

Two units of Union Pacific Railroad light power (Nos. 2289 & 3281) are shown headed west at Gypsum, Kan., on Oct. 13, 1993, on the former Missouri Pacific Railroad main line between Osawatomie, Kan., and Pueblo, Colo. The trackage through Gypsum was ripped out just a few years later. The small bridge in the photo still stands.

Thanks - I always enjoy seeing photos of this line. I kick myself every time someone posts a photo from it as I just always overlooked shooting on that MoPac line and now I regret it tremendously.
