Awesome photo Tim. You covered a rare shot in the Omaha/ Council Bluffs area. I wonder how many realize that the Wabash ran into the Council Bluffs area.

I have some paperwork from the Wabash Council Bluffs yard office. They cleaned that out in 1983 when N&W left. It was 1948 and referenced the 12 trains per day on the line as well as the Council Bluffs wreck train. I recall a newspaper article about the Wabash that claimed they employed 500 people in Council Bluffs-Omaha circa WWII. When N&W left, it was down to 7.
