Nostalgia & History > Warbonnet Wednesday.... 5 of a kind on the 199Date: 10/29/13 22:36 Warbonnet Wednesday.... 5 of a kind on the 199 Author: UP9000 Here is another example of neat trains from a mediocre video camera. These 3 scenes were filmed in the fall of 1991.
Scene 1 5 ATSF 500's elephant style lead the 199 west at Gateley. Scene 2 The same train departs North Bay after a UPS set out, and heads for Richmond. Scene 3 a few weeks later, 5 ATSF 100's lead the 199 through Pinole and across Pinole Creek. Jamie Miller You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Before JB Hunt flooded ATSF/BNSF pig trains, there was Martrac, Transamerica, and all the UPS trailers. My favorite era for Santa Fe in California.
