Nostalgia & History > SP on ATSF in Bakersfield

I never gave this shot a second look when I took it. Probably a transfer from the Santa Fe yard to the SP yard..on the wrong main track....or what was it ? This RR crossing is gone and the Amtrak depot is on the other side of the tracks here, also and the Marriott in the background was still NOT finished. My daughter works at the Marriott now.

And the signals have been replaced now also...taken in 2000 or 2001 ?
